Lovecraft angry at Farnsworth Wright's rejection of "The Mound" (and comparing it with his rejection of Clark Ashton Smith's "The Tale of Satampra Zeiros"); advising Zealia to submit the story to Astounding Stories, Amazing Stories, and Science Wonder Stories, and if that fails ask Wright if he'd take a condensed version of the story; on the Eddy revisions (mentioning "The Unchaining" and "Lesson 8"); on True Story (mentioning Ashley Belvin); Frank Belknap Long not ill, but was writing a novel; on the spring weather, and Lovecraft planning a southern trip.
