Abstract

C. M. Eddy, Jr. very grateful for the job of typing up "The Mound" manuscript; on future revision work with Eddy, discussing the confession and romance field (mentioning Cosmopolitan and a friend of Vrest Orton's at Macfadden, Ashley Belvin); on Eddy's current state, and Lovecraft getting Eddy and his son clothes, as well as a meal (and on Eddy's cat, which reminded Lovecraft of Nigger Man). Postscript: Vrest Orton lost his job at the American Mercury published by Knopf, and might bring out a book of Lovecraft's work.
