Abstract
On getting "Red Blood" in on schedule for Uzzell; praise for the technical improvement in "Red Blood"; Lovecraft doubts he can improve it, since the treatment is so alien to him (with reference to a copy of the Red Book he cannot get); on the cost of the revision (crediting some for "Under Cover"); on Uzzell's opinion of commercial fiction (especially his comments on "The Return"), and how they may not make Lovecraft the best reviser.
