On the Williams material (with reference to Duane Rimel, August Derleth, and instructions to send it on to Bernard Austin Dwyer); Lovecraft received William Hope Hodgson's The Night Land from Derleth (with many criticisms) as well as Derleth's new detective novel, "The Man on All Fours"; glad Smith enjoyed "Beyond the Wall of Sleep," and Lovecraft appreciative of Smith's "Primal City."
