Abstract

Howard hasn't received a copy of Terror by Night yet; the English company handling his novel The Hour of the Dragon gone into receivership; glad to hear Derleth's writing is going well, and praise for Derleth's "Cloak from Messer Lando"; on an oriental story for Top-Notch and a sexless Conan serial for Weird Tales; on one of the best stories he's ever written ("Vultures of Wahpeton") and on gunmen, particularly John Wesley Hardin and Simp Dixon. Postscript: Farnsworth Wright bought "Moon of Zambebwei" (published as "The grisly Horror") for Weird Tales.
