Abstract
Praise for Derleth's "Five Alone," poem, and picture; thanks for the comments on "The Man on the Ground" and "The Black Stone"; on droughts in their respective states; praise for Lovecraft's "The Dreams in the Witch House" and "The Horror in the Museum" (the latter revised for Hazel Heald), as well as Clark Ashton Smith's "Ubbo-Sathla"; glad to hear "Five Points" to be in The Best Short Stories of 1932; enclosing a snapshot of Robert E. Howard at the ruins of Fort McKavett, with some notes on its history; on the lost San Saba Mine (with reference to Dobie's Coronado's Children); on visiting Paint Rock, TX and John Chisum's ranch.
