Abstract
Thanks for the copy of The Heritage of Sauk City that Derleth had sent, and on Sauk City (with an anecdote of the oil boom, and Rex Beach's Flowing Gold); sending Derleth a copy of Frontier's Generation, and elaborating on its contents describes grisly relics made from Native American skin, some omitted murders and legends; on how the history of Callahan County remains unwritten; on the weather. Postscript on hearing the radio-play John Ferguson.
