Abstract
No news yet on their collaboration (probably "Red Blades of Black Cathay"); asking after Smith's luck with selling to Fiction House and Snappy; on receiving a long letter from H. P. Lovecraft (and how Frank Belknap Long and Clark Ashton Smith reportedly praise Howard's fiction); "Voyages with Villains" - more of the fictional adventures of Truett Vinson, Tevis Clyde Smith, and Howard; Farnsworth Wright accepts "Red Blades of Black Cathay" for Oriental Studies and "Wings in the Night" for Weird Tales.
Note: The Selected Letters gives the date c. August 1930.
