Both Smith and Howard having a hard time writing; some Junto matters; the Argosy bookstore hasn't sent their catalogue yet; Fight Stories out soon; thanks for the praise for Howard's poem in Weird Tales; on a letter from Howard Preece, who has sold an article to E. Haldeman-Julius and met Leon Milton Birkhead and Joseph McCabe; the poems "Ambition," "Whispers On the Nightwinds," and "The Gladiator and the Lady"; Fight Stories bought another Steve Costigan story, "Winner Take All."
