Abstract
Ribbing Smith on not sending Howard any letters or poetry; on Swinburne (and other poets, mentioning Sidney Lanier, Edgar Allen Poe, and Viereck), quoting Viereck as printed in the Little Blue Books of E. Haldeman Julius, and running into lesbianism (and mention of Oscar Wilde again); Howard's first sonnet, "Twilight at Stonehenge" and a villanelle, "Ocean Thoughts," asking after Truett Vinson and Smith's poetry.
