Abstract
Glad to hear from Smith, and not to worry about James Hopper's letter; Sterling was in Carmel with Sinclair Lewis; George Moore's address may be in the English Who's Who; "The Pathfinders" failed to win the Nation's prize, but H. L. Mencken took it for the American Mercury; Sterling has his girl went up to Inverness, and was reminded of Leo, whom he thought Dr. Albert Abrams had cured of tuberculosis; on the New Masses; Dreiser to write a preface for Lilith; asking after Andrew Dewing. Postscript: asking for another poem for the Overland Monthly.
