Some sheets from Sandalwood, which is at the printer's; on booksellers handling Sandalwood (Newbegin and Robertson never remitting for Ebony & Crystal), and Cassidy of the Auburn Journal reducing the bill for Smith's services; thanks for the circulars from Benjamin de Casseres; Sterling never sent "The Ballad of the Grapes." Postscript: table of contents for Sandalwood will be at the end. Enclosed: "October."
