Sorry to hear Smith is feeling down, Sterling has a scenario under consideration; Sterling's teeth are now okay, but dental bills are unpaid; thanks for the poems, and sending one ("The End of Autumn") to The Wanderer; Chicago Literary Times ceased publishing, so Sterling is sending copies of the American Mercury; Sterling not feeling the energy to write prose or verse; Sterling's home in Carmel burned down, but Hopper had insurance on it; Robertson making out a statement for Sterling.
