Abstract
Asking who owes the other a letter, touching on his recent movie experience with Douglas Fairbanks; on meeting Mary Pickford and Mary Miles Minter (and pre-Prohibition alcohol); in Carmel got mussels on Point Lobos and visited Gouverneur Morris; praise for Smith's epigrams, which he will show to Lafler (and who hopes to leave Los Angeles next year); asking to be remembered to Smith's mother. Postscript: Declaration he will write and sell no more poems.
