Abstract
Smith not in jail; enclosing Smith's latest articles from the Auburn Journal, as he can't sell to magazines; no news, with Smith neither married no Episcopalian yet; Mrs. Lee left Auburn several months previously; on de Casseres' review, and hoping someone else will review it (with mention of H. P. Lovecraft); no chance at present for Smith to come visit. Enclosed: clippings from the Auburn Journal.
