Mencken bought "Requiescat"; on Sterling's "Beauty Dethroned" and "The Midway Peace" with an aside on Buddhism; enclosing some new verses; Smith anxious to have a book published; Andrew Dewing spoke of Sterling. Enclosed: "Artemis," "Chance."
