Smith suffered a brief breakdown but is better, the individual who called was R. A. Nichol; considering sending poems to Alice Meynell, and would prefer Alice M. Reed to print *Ebony and Crystal* over Robertson; Smith considering coming down to San Francisco for a bit of debauchery; Smith not able to write for months.
