On their correspondence and boredom; Sterling got some copies of Lilith in and gave them all away, but will get some more in soon and forward it to Smith (and Sterling paying for the book himself); Sterling has heard of Arthur Waley's book (and on the futility of life); praise for Smith's poems (with mention of Ambrose Bierce); on a bit of praise from another; Sterling written nothing but love-sonnets for weeks. Enclosed: "The Face of the Skies."
