Abstract
On the death of George Sterling's ex-wife; glad to hear from Smith, advising him to eat more, and asking after Andrew Dewing; Sterling wrote nothing in New York, which city he dislikes, and glad to be back in San Francisco; in New York Sterling saw Carman, Theodore Dreiser, John Reed, Harry Kemp, and Nina Putnam.
