Abstract
Sterling spent a trip to visit all the Missions between San Francisco and Mexico; Sterling to speak to Robertson about a book (who has given up on the Missions book, and limiting the run of The Caged Eagle and Other Poems until the price of paper goes down; sorry to hear of Smith's health (referencing The Rime of the Ancient Mariner); on "Cypress and Orchids" and "Poppy and Cypress" as titles; on the prose-poem Smith sent (mentioning his war-sonnets in Town Talk, "White Logic", and Harriet Monroe); Sterling's book to be out soon (with mention of Viereck and Scheffauer, and "Conspiracy").
