Abstract
Hoping Smith feels more like writing now that winter is over, Sterling has been busy but sold nothing; on the supposed Bierce letter received by Roosevelt Johnson; thanks for "Memnon at Midnight"; on Oscar Wilde (mentioning "Salome"); Sterling has no copy of "To the Mummy of the Lady Isis," but it will be in The Caged Eagle and Other Poems; on a trip to Carmel and the "ostrich tree"; Stella and Albert M. Bender asking after Smith; Sterling about even with Robertson.
