Abstract
Apologies for the delay in answering, as there has been no news and Smith has done little except draw; on a potential second volume of Smith's poetry from Robertson (with mention of "The Blindness of Orion"); Smith wants to write an elegy to Nora May French, and odes to Poe and Swinburne (and remarking his lack of output is a matter of willpower); enclosing some poems, and asking if Sterling has seen "The Corpse and the Skeleton." Enclosed: "Moon-Dawn," "The Mirrors of Beauty" and other poems.
