Not much news; on Smith's "The Phantasy of Twilight" (with reference to the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyám); Sterling has written sixteen poems, and two stories, none written yet, but misses Carmel; Sterling to winter in New York, hoping to get better acquainted with the editors; on the leopard-lily and Ina Cowdery Beckman; promise to write John Neihardt; on "The Sun and the Sepulchre"; Norbert Hyatt visiting.
