Abstract
Sterling away from Carmel as his wife packs several of her possessions; on "War," and having given Town Talk three more poems; Sterling had seen the picture of Edgar Allan Poe; on possibly seeing Smith before Sterling goes to New York; Sterling having sold five poems to the San Francisco Call and two to Sunset; Sterling's "cave-boy" stories appearing in Popular.
