FROM Clark Ashton Smith
TO George Sterling

Smith explains he delayed writing the letter as there is little news: he has written nothing, nor heard anything back about manuscripts; on local forest fires and the weather; congratulations that Sterling had sold several short stories (based on Town Talk); Smith says that Sterling had not sent "That Walk in Darkness," and he would like to see it; several ideas for poems, including one to be titled "Demogorgon."
