Abstract
Smith forced into hack-work, including work for Unknown and the spicy magazines (with reference to E. Hoffmann Price), hence his lack of letters; on his recent poems such as "bond"; thanks for the bulb catalogue; too broke to leave Auburn, though looking into selling his property; Smith to try and visit the Bay Region next month, and hoping to visit the St. Clairs and Alberta Dixon; ask if they'd like to buy any of Smith's books; Smith unsure how to seduce a nun.
