Abstract
Apologies on not writing sooner to this, seguing into discussion of alcohol and dreams; glad the casts of Smith's sculptures arrived intact, and the order in which the carvings were done; hoping the St. Clairs will visit Auburn; a brief quip on a Nazir Indian prophecy; on the cold weather; more on the casts and San Francisco art stores.
