On the delays in writing this letter; glad Lovecraft and R. H. Barlow enjoyed the sculptures (including the one bought by Donald Wandrei), and how Smith hopes to sell replicas and originals such as "Cthulhu's Child"; hope things are better for Lovecraft, and on the weather and Smith's own health (with mention of Genevieve K. Sully); praise for Lovecraft's "The Haunter of the Dark" and looking forward to his "The Thing on the Doorstep" and proposed collection of Lovecraft's stories; brief mention of Dr. David H. Keller; on R. H. Barlow, Incantations, and Ebony and Crystal; thanks for the clippings and acrostics; on fan magazines (mentioning Science-Fantasy Correspondent and Claire P. Beck's Science Fiction Critic); on the death of Robert E. Howard (and Barlow's memorial sonnet, and Lovecraft and E. Hoffmann Price's tributes).
