FROM Clark Ashton Smith | |
TO Robert H. Barlow | |
November 1935 |
Abstract
Apologies for not answering Barlow's last letter sooner; thanks for The Goblin Tower, The Shunned House, and Dragon-Fly (particularly E. A. Edkin's "Fragment of a Letter to a Young Poet" in the latter); hope Barlow has received the consignment of manuscripts et al. from Smith, who has been going over possible material for a new volume of poetry, Incantations (with reference to Sandalwood); on Barlow's binding of The Star-Treader and a bound volume of Strange Tales; on a Hyperborean sculpture by Smith for Barlow (transmitted by way of H. P. Lovecraft).
