Glad to receive Lovecraft's letter, and that he is visiting the Barlows in Florida again; on Smith's lapse in letter-writing; on Richard F. Searight, the Eltdown Shards, and Gillis Land; on cats; polite no-thank-you for a loan of The Golem, which Smith has already read; on Smith's parents' health; Smith taking up carving, sending under separate cover images of Cthulhu and Hyperborean wizards for Lovecraft and Barlow, respectively.
