Abstract
On William Crawford's bias against Smith and Lovecraft's work as not science fiction; form rejections from Astounding Stories for "The Witchcraft of Ulua" and "The Tomb Spawn," but a check for "The Demon of the Flower"; Farnsworth Wright accepts "The Tomb-Spawn" and requests an illustration for "The Weaver in the Vault"; hope that Derleth can land some stories in Astounding, with Smith expressing a low opinion on the second issue (and citing R. H. Barlow's similar opinion); on Smith's typewriter troubles.
