Abstract
Slow payments at Weird Tales and the Clayton magazines; Smith wrote a letter to Farnsworth Wright complaining about Seabury Quinn; on a postcard from Lovecraft in Canada, and Smith's own desire to travel (exacerbated by outstanding monies owed to him by pulps); the state of Smith's fictional affairs (mentioning "The God of the Asteroid," "The Dimension of Chance," "The Supernumerary Corpse," "The Ice-Demon," "The Eidolon of the Blind," and "The Maze of Mool Dweb"); Lovecraft loaned Smith The Episodes of Vathek.
