Abstract
Thanks for Derleth's picture, and on Smith's own measurements; looking forwards to Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness, and enclosing Smith's "The Hunters from Beyond" (based on "Pickman's Model"), to be forwarded to Donald Wandrei, H. P. Lovecraft, and possibly Bernard Austin Dwyer; on the most words Smith had ever written in a day (with "The Holiness of Azéderac" still unfinished); best of luck with the Claytons (who had rejected Smith's "The Testament of Athammaus," but are holding on to "The Return of Helman Carnby"), and "The Willow Landscape" accepted by The Philippine Magazine (though he fears "An Offering to the Moon" would not be accepted), with other stories under consideration with Farnsworth Wright (a weird scientific), Gay Paree (some of his Baudelaire translations), and This Quarter ("The Satyr"). Postscript on enclosed photos, which include Genevieve Sully.
