Abstract
Thanks for the stories Derleth sent, praises "The Panelled Room" and looking forward to "The Early Years" (recommended by Donald Wandrei); Smith enclosing "A Rendezvous in Averoigne," "The Epiphany of Death" (not inspired by Lovecraft's "The Outsider"), and "The Tale of Satampra Zeiros" (the latter two Smith considers unmarketable unless Farnsworth Wright reconsider them), Smith's other unsold tales out on loan, or submitted to the Atlantic; on Mystic Magazine and Ghost Stories.
