Abstract
Sorry to hear Wandrei can't make it to California; on autumn in Auburn; Smith written no poetry this year, but writing a good bit of fiction; on his correspondence with H. P. Lovecraft and swearing off realism (with mention of Anatole France); asking Wandrei to hurry up with his weird novel (Dead Titans, Waken!).
