Abstract

Thanks and praise for Wandrei's Ecstasy and Other Poems, citing in particular "Ecstasy," "On Some Drawings", "Sanctity and Sin," and "Valerian"; Smith translated more of Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs de Mal, though he is unable to read the Latin poems; two of Smith's paintings on black cloth shown at the Independent Show in New York, and attracted the attention of two Parisian magazines, Les Artistes D'Aujourd'hui and Revue du Vrai et du Beau, with Henri de Montal-Faubelle and M. Comte de Chabrier wishing to write articles.
