Abstract

Thanks for the check, and sorry to hear Mrs. Clark is still unwell; Smith mailed Symon's translation of Baudelaire (with comparison to Stuart Merrill's); Smith doing some writing and drawing, enclosing two prose-poems and a sonnet; on the sonnets Sterling sent, particularly "Infidels"; Loveman drafted; on Smith's health and rest-cure; on the flowers. Enclosed: "Ennui," "The Princess Almeena," and "Sepulture."
