Abstract
On Sterling's "Past the Breakers"; on Sterling's comments with regard to "The Medusa of Despair" (and the introspective element in modern literature); a brief line on his latest poems (including "The Witch of the Graveyard"); Monroe of Poetry returned a batch of manuscripts (with Smith's criticism on the magazine's quality, particularly "Hasidu"); "The Nereid" sold to The Yale Review; on Sterling's suggested changes.
