FROM Clark Ashton Smith
TO George Sterling
26-Sep-1912

Abstract

On the proofs for "Saturn"; on the hot weather and Smith's inspiration; Smith sent some verse to the new magazine Poetry, and the Board of Education to put Smith's book in all the school libraries in the county (and Smith never having graduated high school); Smith unhappy at the affluence and optimism of the day, wishing a hell for magazine-editors, and sending Sterling some new poems.
