FROM Clark Ashton Smith | |
TO George Sterling | |
6-Oct-1911 |
Abstract
Sterling's card and letter arrived; Smith's opinion on photographs; no word from the North American Review on "Ode to the Abyss," and little chance of Smith coming down to Carmel; enclosing "The Star-Treader" and "A Song From Hell"; the lyrics "Wind-Ripples" and "A Live-Oak Leaf"; glad to hear Edwin Markham liked "Ode to the Abyss," which so few appreciate.
