Abstract
Lovecraft glad to hear The Shadow over Innsmouth arrived, thanks for Toldridge's cards (and on stamps), on Christmas (with members of Kappa Alpha Tau), the gift of a human skull from Willis Conover (with Lovecraft waxing necromantic), on Toldridge's situation, thanks for the cuttings (particularly regarding the excavations at Troy and Mexico), on the armillary sphere, on a league of nations, hope Toldridge's fish will prosper, the text of "To Klarkash-Ton, Wizard of Averoigne", on their respective health (Lovecraft with a touch of the "grippe"), mention of the weather and recent lectures attended.
