Abstract
Lovecraft comments on Derleth's draft of Goodbye, Margery, destined to be the last chapter of Evening in Spring. The version in Some Notes on H. P. Lovecraft is longer, and contains a long description of a walk to a wild hill in Providence that Derleth would later incorporate into his short story "The Lamp of Alhazred."
