Abstract
On the death of Robert E. Howard, and many praises heaped on Howard and his fiction (particularly "Black Canaan" which Lovecraft had just read), comparing him favorably to Robert Bloch and August Derleth (with mention of his friends "Pinkie" Tyson and Tevis Clyde Smith).
