Tolman), on the "Spite House" in Marblehead, small matters (condolences on the death of Toldridge's friend, Lovecraft's aunt goes out for Christmas dinner, etc.), Lovecraft and W. Paul Cook in Boston, a lecture by Raymond M. Hood on Radio City in New York, on current political and social change (referencing Marx, classic civilizations, the French Revolution, India, Russia, Japan, etc.), on only the creation of art being important, on Willem de Sitter's view of the universe, the end of Toldridge's photograph-colouring, on the Scottish Annual.
