FROM H. P. Lovecraft
TO Elizabeth Toldridge
31-Oct-1931

Abstract

Notes on Toldridge's poetry, on the cuttings Toldridge had sent (speech patterns in New England), on the Putnam rejection, Lovecraft's aunt feeling better, on New England as a seat of weirdness, on the political transition of the world, on "The Music of Erich Zann" (and mention of Atlantis in "The Temple"), on places in Maryland, on the obliteration of Mardale.

Errata: The Selected Letters gives the date as 9 October 1931, but the Letters to Elizabeth Toldridge & Anne Tillery Renshaw gives the date 31 October 1931.
