Abstract
Thanks for the Poetry Review and some comments on its contents, Putnam returns the manuscripts, Long and Lovecraft land stories in Creeps by Night edited by Dashiell Hammett, on returning from his trip, on Knopf (with mention of Mencken and the American Mercury), on the photograph-colouring, on Toldridge's piece in the Charleston paper, on the health of Miss Radcliffe and Lovecraft's aunt; on civilization being in a period of social, economic, and political transition; on the second batch of cuttings.
