Abstract
On his fiction and revision work (including mention of "The Temple"), Lovecraft's interest in Mayan and Aztec lore (and a possible reference to "The Mound"), on Toldridge acquiring a copyist, on Edgar Allen Poe's biography Israfel (and other Poe-material), on weather and outings, on the cuttings Toldridge had sent, seguing into a mini-essay on the nature of the universe (with reference to Haeckel, Einstein, etc.), suggested reading (Bertrand Russell, Sir James Jeans, Krutch, etc.)
