On the Bullen book, on his fiction and revision work, on the cuttings she had sent (especially regarding Fredericksburg, VA and place names), on Poe (with Lovecraft about to purchase Israfel), on some poetry magazines Toldridge had sent, on the weather, on Quinsnicket (with a sketch), on moonlight, on extinct cultures (reference to Polaris, the Maya, Atlantis, Poseidonis, and A. Conan Doyle's The Maracot Deep), on "poetical" words.
