Abstract
Sorry for the delay in response, and to hear of the Zealia's sister's illness; on Frank Belknap Long's revision of her novel and the need for "grounding" (with reference to Uzzell) leading into some advice on reading (and a definition of the fivefold writer's problem), and some extensive comments on the story (and praise for Long's revisions); Lovecraft been very busy with revision work all summer, received James F. Morton and other guests, and visited Onset with the Longs, where he receive his first ride in an airplane.
