Abstract
Lovecraft is in the midst of writing "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath," somewhat in the style of Vathek, and is glad to hear that Derleth appreciates "The Strange High House in the Mist." The version in Some Notes on H. P. Lovecraft is somewhat longer and adds a few notes on the Dunsanian influence on Lovecraft's poem Celephais, and the lackthereof on Polaris.
